No PS3 instructions, but when figured out, they work great!

Bought 2 of these to use with the PS3 bluetooth feature. Was a little difficult understanding the instructions for use as they were intended for use with a cell phone, and the instructions were very accurate on using them with a cell phone, but once we figured out how to work it on the PS3, it is a great product... only thing I would change would be to include instructions for use with other bluetooth equipment as well as cell phones.

Don't work

It worked for 1 day. Won't even turn on anymore. Hunk of junk. Not happy. Would not recommend this to anybody.

Easy to Setup on PlayStation 3

This was easy to setup on PS3. Just hold the power button down for 8 seconds until the LED blinks red and blue and have your PS3 register the Bluetooth. Then go to audio device settings and set the input to the headset you just registered (to get the mic to work). You can also set the output to the headset as well if want to hear people through the headset (I prefer to hear people through my TV but that's just my preference).

The headset is nice but I don't think it's worth $50. The mic sits a little too close to my face and I feel people can hear me breathing. The ear piece is comfortable with soft padding on it and doesn't overlap your ear (which is what I like). If you set the mic volume to 4 or higher you and others can hear a click sound every 10 seconds or so (3 or less you can still hear it but it's faint). The plastic piece that wraps around your head is flimsy (also made of plastic) and would probably break easily if not taken care of.

Overall it is a good headset. People can hear background noise but it's low and clear, so it doesn't overpower your voice like other crumby mics. I'm happy with it for now, but I will probably be looking into getting a really nice one someday.
