Don't purchase!!

This is the only product I've purchased from Amazon that I've reviewed. I purchased two of these batteries and was able to recharge them only once before they finally died. I've tried using my PS3 player, different computers, and different cords without success. I wish Sony would sell their own batteries as replacements.

Only replacement I was able to find

I have a after market PS3 controller that wouldn't hold a charge. (Had to keep it plugged into the USB port to be able to use it) I tried all the local Northern CA electronic suppliers to find a replacement battery, NO LUCK on that. Found this battery on line, was a good replacement for the origional, (found the battery replacement #web search). Remove 6 screws from the back of the controller, remove the foam protector from the old battery, had to cut off 2 small plastic pieces (used steak knife) from the back of the controller shell to get the new one to fit. Replaced all the parts, and back in business in 15 minutes. New battery had the identical connector for the circuit board already installed from manufacturer. 10$ fix for a 30$ cost to replace the controller.
